About the Event

What to do on a hot August night?  Stay up late, look up and be amazed. Bring the whole family to view stars, planets, and even some meteors. Your instructor for the night is Mike Hiland. We fondly call him Professor Mike, because of his keen understanding of the galaxies.  He's going to be showing us planets, star systems, and other cool nighttime displays.  He has plenty of telescopes, but if you want to bring yours feel free to bring it along.  You might want to bring a light jacket just in case the summer night turns cold. A blanket might be nice to spread out n the grass to lay on. Please take a few moments to RSVP so we know you are coming.
