What to do on a hot August night? Stay up late, look up and be amazed. Bring the whole family to view stars, planets, and even some meteors. Mike Hiland will be bringing his telescopes and giving us a tour of the night sky. We will see meteors from the yearly Perseid's meteor shower, tour the summer constellations, and see planets, star clusters, nebulas and galaxies through the telescopes. Mike has plenty of telescopes, but if you want to bring yours feel free to bring it along. You might want to bring a light jacket just in case the summer night turns cold. A blanket might be nice to spread out on the grass to lay on. Please take a few moments to RSVP so we know you are coming.
